Indigenous from the physics up
Not licensed assembly. Transducer design, acoustic signal processing, embedded firmware and mechanical qualification are all owned in-house — which means the design can be changed when the requirement does.
Indigenous defence engineering · Since 2008
Underwater acoustic communications, high-altitude unmanned systems and the precision instrumentation that qualifies them — designed, built and proven in India.
The problem we exist for
For decades the systems that matter most in the undersea and unmanned domains have been bought in — tuned for other oceans, other altitudes, other doctrines, and delivered on someone else’s schedule.
Yottec builds them here. Not assembled here: designed here, from the physics up, by engineers who can be in the room when a programme runs into trouble.
Where others stop, we deliver.
Yottec SystemsFour domains
Each domain stands on its own. Together they share a single hardware, firmware and qualification bench — which is why a modem, a drone and the rig that tests them can come from the same building.
Ruggedised electronics, embedded firmware and signal processing — the undersea communications and sensing hardware at the centre of the portfolio.
Airframes, flight electronics and autonomy designed together, and qualified against airworthiness standards rather than fair-weather demonstrations.
Qualification infrastructure: test beds, calibration facilities, checkout systems and integration benches, designed around each programme’s real constraints.
Servo-controlled motion, positioning and environmental simulation platforms — precise, repeatable and built to hold calibration.

Flagship platform
A twelve-rotor, all-electric logistics multicopter built for the altitude band where conventional resupply becomes dangerous. Tested at Khardung La, Ladakh.
Precision logistics for remote operations
Fully autonomous, programmable missions with centimetre-level landing accuracy and zero human intervention at the drop site. Multiple sorties a day, in 30 kmph winds with 40 kmph gusts, with over 75% indigenous content.
Why programmes choose Yottec
Four things that are hard to buy and harder to build.
Not licensed assembly. Transducer design, acoustic signal processing, embedded firmware and mechanical qualification are all owned in-house — which means the design can be changed when the requirement does.
Imported acoustic hardware is calibrated for colder, less saline waters. Yottec designs for the temperature and salinity profiles of the Indian Ocean — and tests at the altitudes and in the terrain where the platforms will fly.
A decade and a half of qualification instrumentation means every product is designed against a real acceptance test from day one, and integration risk is discovered on a bench rather than at sea.
ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, DRDO registration, CEMILAC certification for airworthy systems design and DPIIT certification for military drone manufacturing.
